How do you handle an emotional affair?

I recently received an email from a reader that I’d like to share with you. She asked this question:

My husband of 25 years is having an emotional affair with a customer. He brushes off my concerns saying they are “just friends” but they have done activities together. She lives in another state so they don’t see each other often. He swears they never kissed or have sex, she’s just easy to hang with. He now wants a divorce and I do not.
