Healthy Love Starts with a Healthy YOU.
As an affirming practice, I support love across many different types of relationship identities. I strive to help individuals and couples reach their highest relationship potential and offer an environment that fosters dignity, respect and affirmation.
I believe that, when it comes to intimacy, most individuals and couples feel isolated and alone. My practice aims to break the stigma surrounding relationship and intimacy struggles.
I also seek to be a valuable, trusted resource in the community by providing the highest quality services and client care. Whether I work with you individually or as a couple, I strive to help you decrease your mental, emotional, physical, sexual and spiritual stress so that you can create healthy, fulfilling relationships and lifestyles.
Couples & Sex Therapy
In working with couples for almost 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting them during various stages of their shared lives.
Whether you just moved in together, are newlywed, recently had a baby, have a difficult medical diagnosis, are nurturing dual-careers or are empty nesters, you can learn how to navigate challenges and adjustments over your relationship lifespan.
Sustaining a healthy relationship and sex life requires attention, skill and loving care. Our work together can help you:
- Use healthy communication to resolve conflict
- Stay present to your partner without losing yourself
- Restore intimacy and connection
- Interrupt unhealthy patterns of speech and behavior
- Understand desire, pleasure and sexual intimacy
- Create sex worth wanting
Relationship, couples and sex therapy requires a therapist with a strong therapeutic skill set and a clear understanding of the complexities and nuances surrounding emotional, physical and sexual intimacy. As we work together, you will receive direct yet compassionate guidance from me along with exercises and home practices to help you strengthen meaningful connection.
Relationship counseling and sex therapy is for everyone, whether you are single or partnered. I have found that many clients fully reach their goals or make substantial progress within 10-20 sessions, or in approximately 6 months, with consistent attendance.
Therapy for Women
As a sex therapist, I’ve seen how exploring a woman’s relationships and sexuality can become a portal for helping her understand herself as a whole person.
Because relationships and sex don’t exist in a vacuum, my work focuses on understanding the intersections between your sexuality, relationships, physical health, career, parenting, mental health, spirituality, culture, aging and the many dimensions that make up your identity as a woman.
Together, we can explore how you navigate intimacy, vulnerability, trust, self-expression, relaxation, loss, boundaries, self-care and creativity.
I can also help you learn how to stop having intimate touch experiences that you may not want, so that you can make room for touch that actually feels pleasurable and meets you where you are on any given day.
Our work can help you establish a strong connection to, and trust in, yourself, so that you can feel empowered and clear in your relationships and in your life.

More On Sex Therapy
No matter what type of sexual problem you experience, how you think and talk about sex plays a vital role in your ability to enjoy a healthy sex life. Sexuality is so much more than bodies, body parts and/or penetration. It’s a complex blend of influences, expectations, beliefs and behaviors that inform how you view yourself, your partner and the sex you share together.
Sex therapy involves lots of sex education and therapeutic exercises. You will unlearn sexual messages that are flat out harmful so that you can make room for healthy ways to think about sex. From there, you can decide if you want to participate in it, or not.
Many of my clients find sex therapy to be a life-changing experience.
